Objective: Introduce and establish a new visual theme for the church’s anniversary celebration.
Challenge: The challenge was to translate one central anniversary concept into multiple formats
Approach: Developed and coordinated visual content, messaging, and posting schedules to ensure the church anniversary theme was consistently communicated across platforms and touchpoints. The campaign balanced creativity and brand consistency while adapting content to the needs of different audiences and media formats.
Project: Dakelh Language Spotlight for Social Media
Objective: Create educational social media content that introduces audiences to the Dakelh language, encourages learning, and contributes to keeping the language visible and alive within the community.
Challenge: Creating language-focused content required careful research and cultural sensitivity. Accuracy was essential, so each post needed to be properly researched and reviewed with knowledgeable individuals before being shared publicly.
Approach: the approach began by researching and studying the language using available Dakelh language resources and dictionaries. Then connected and collaborated with knowledgeable individuals to verify the language, meaning, and context before developing the content. Once the information was confirmed, the concept is translated into accessible and engaging visual content, ensuring that the design approach was respectful and aligned with the Indigenous community and its cultural identity.
The same research-driven and culturally respectful approach was applied to the Facebook Reels created for the Dakelh Language Audio series. Each video was developed to make the language more accessible and engaging through a combination of visual content, translation and audio.
